Enjoy a special presentation of Salon et lumière, a highlight of NGV Triennial 2020, followed by a panel discussion featuring its creators. The presentation ends with Spotlight on Shadows, a dance performance choreographed in response to the space.
Presenters include host Donna McColm, Assistant Director, Curatorial and Learning, NGV, Laurie Benson, Curator, International Art, NGV; Benjamin Ducroz, Manager of Multimedia, NGV and award-winning sound developer Cornel Wilczek.
The dance performance, Spotlight on Shadows, was choreographed by Shinjita Roy, PhD candidate from the Victorian College of the Arts (VCA), The University of Melbourne, supervised by Professor Carol Brown, Head of Dance at VCA.
The performers were VCA students Sarah Kosoof, Tai Platania, Freya Humphery, Amelia O’Leary and Aimee Raitman. Costumes were by Juliet Bennie.
