Co-Designing the Futures of Aged Care

Presented by MAP and Umps Health

Sorry you missed this one!

Australians are getting older, and a child today could reasonably expect to live into their 90s. While we are living more years in good health, the demand for aged care has increased dramatically. In order to meet demand, technological innovations have emerged; but the tendency for start-ups to push products onto older people rather than co-design with them has resulted in varied levels of adoption. This event invites experts to share how they have addressed this by working with older people to conduct ‘design experiments’, and applying the principles of human-centred design to aged care.
