Recent modelling by Vision 2020 Australia suggests that around 840,000 Australians are currently living with vision loss, and that by 2030 this could exceed 1.04 million. 
Drop-by Community Hall and learn about honing alternative senses, advancements in vision aids and life hacks that facilitate independence for those who are blind or have low vision in this program presented by Vision Australia. As part of the sessions, visitors can try on low vision simulation glasses and look through photos and significant objects that tell stories of resilience from three people who are learning new ways to navigate the world with partial sight.
