How can design shape life? In this seminar the panel and audience considers ideas around product and service development with regard to health and wellbeing, including the new wave of design thinking that emerged in the 1990s and contrast contemporary practices with examples from the past held in the RMIT Design Archives collections. The Britax Safe ‘n’ Sound Baby Capsule (RMIT Design Archives’ Robert Pataki Archive), the CaT Pin (RMIT Health Transformation Lab in partnership with Bolton Clarke), and the Protector Eye Wash Station (Form Australia) are just some of the products to be discussed.
