NGV curator Katharina Prugger introduces audiences to German artist and filmmaker Julian Rosefeldt’s latest work In the Land of Drought, premiering in Australia at the NGV.

Composed of meditative images and atmospheric sounds, In the Land of Drought is set in an imaginary post-Anthropocene world and confronts the relationship between humanity and its impact on the environment.

Audiences are encouraged to view the work prior to the talk.
