Melbourne-based Matters Journal will launch its fourth issue on as part of Melbourne Design Week – examining the hopeful horizons of possibility embedded in our complicated present.
From the future of burial and intimacy to building benevolent AI and returning bushfire management to Country, the new Matters issue examines what we need to breach the gap between the future we want and the future we can achieve. It also explores new frontiers in digital culture and how they’ll shape future societies, asking questions like: “What does the future of learning look like?” And more importantly, “How can we learn our way to a better future?”
Featuring writing and illustrations from the likes of Amal Awad, Roz Bellamy, Claire G Coleman, Mia Timpano, Tai Snaith and Tyson Yunkaporta, the newest release from Matters Journal packs a punch.
