Join Parbin-ata Carolyn Briggs AM (Boon Wurrung Foundation), Seb Chan (ACMI), Olivia Guntarik (RMIT) and Troy Innocent (RMIT) in a conversation about urban play, starting with First Peoples connection to place. First Peoples connection to place create ways of being that enable reimagination, reconnection and reconfiguration of the world.

This conversation connects these ideas to design strategies for playable cities, which explores the role of urban play communities in adaptation and survival of cities. Working with these themes, the panellists show how urban play communities work collectively to playtest, workshop, design, develop and realise opportunities for play in the city – ranging from temporary experiments and prototypes to large-scale industry collaboration and research to reshape urban life.
