Join NGV educators for an exclusive online briefing of Yayoi Kusama, a landmark exhibition which celebrates the career of one of the most recognisable contemporary artists living today. Comprising nearly 200 works, including a diverse display of the artist’s iconic immersive rooms, the exhibition offers rich and engaging opportunities for student learning.
This briefing is designed to help teachers effectively plan and prepare for an inspiring and meaningful excursion to see the exhibition and introduce teachers to exhibition resources for the classroom.
NGV educators will discuss selected works, identify key themes and ideas to explore before, during and after a visit to the Gallery, and provide practical strategies for navigating the exhibition with students. The session will also include an overview of NGV Learn programs and opportunities designed especially for teachers and students connecting with the exhibition content.
