The Australian Art Orchestra (AAO) joins NGV Friday nights to curate a visionary series of ensembles, assembled from a variety of its core members, collaborators, and artists from their broader community.

26 JULY: BALL/HANLON/SCHULZ FEATURING VAHIDEH EISAEI
This unconventional trio takes nothing at face value. With each piece, Eugene Ball, Ben Hanlon and Anthony Schulz, reinvent the sounds of their own instruments and the possibilities of their combined talent. The trio draw from their collective experience in classical, jazz and folk traditions to reveal something uncategorisable and entirely their own.

Melbourne Winter Masterpieces®: Pharaoh, traverses three thousand years of art and culture and more than 500 objects, including monumental sculpture, architecture, temples, jewellery, coffins and more. This exhibition celebrates the phenomenon of pharaoh, those all-powerful kings claiming a divine origin.
