PERFORMANCES
NGAIIRE
Great Hall
7.30pm – 8.30pm
Known for her stellar vocal force, tight beats, boisterous costuming and big brave pop sounds, NGAIIRE is a musical force of nature. Drawing on her experiences growing up in Papua New Guinea, NGAIIRE has a career that crosses genre and art form. Her work has seen her grace the stages of Glastonbury to Splendour in the Grass, national tours alongside Flume, Sufjan Stevens and Alicia Keys, compose music scores for dance companies and have her work performed at experimental art spaces including MOMA.
KIA
Great Hall
6.00pm – 7.30pm
8.30pm – 10.00pm
With a keen ear for bass heavy rhythms, IDM and the deeper and sometimes darker shades of techno, Kia impressively glides through genres and emotions in exciting and often unexpected ways. However, it’s her presence behind the booth that really makes her stand out. With an upcoming stint in Europe and a number of exciting shows on the horizon, Kia is without a doubt one to keep tabs on.
