Oblique Contributions considers how the confluence of collective intelligence harnessed from university, community and industry can contribute obliquely to progress ideas, prototypes, and engagement paradigms to benefit our cities, culture and society.
This exhibition surfaces a future front where collaborative compositions that fuse university, community and industry knowledge explore a new wave of design-thinking; cultivating a design culture rooted in speculative university research while grounded within real-world agendas. It considers architecture beyond the physical manifestation of form and aesthetics and considers approaches that are not only concerned about the building of architecture but the act of thinking through architecture.
