Celebrating a new Uro publication on and by the artist and architect Richard Goodwin, this event reflects on the changing capacity for artists and architects to engage with the public domain of the city. Clearly, the 60s, 70s and 80s was a time of activism, public art and urban provocations. But what of now? What is the contemporary ‘bandwidth of intervention’ that creative practice might realistically claim? Do we still have a meaningful voice within the contemporary city?
