Reflecting on the success of the RVIA Small Homes Service, how can architects be more involved in volume housing today in order to impact more lives? What should the design outcome look like given today’s challenges and opportunities? Examining contemporary proposals, this exhibition and talk investigates what an architects’ involvement in volume single-detached housing could look like today.
The exhibition will close with short presentations by Virginia Mannering of Monash University, Andy Wong of John Wardle Architects, Matthew Hutton of Grimshaw, Fooi-Ling Khoo, Chair of Architeam and Glen Chamberlain of Chamberlain Architects. Presentations will be followed by a panel discussion moderated by Editor of Houses Magazine, Gemma Savio.
