Ground Level

Are you a senior interested in learning more about art, design and the NGV? Join our friendly NGV Guides in the Gallery each month for an hour of informal conversation about selected artworks and stay on for a cup of tea in the café to continue the discussion. We would love to hear your perspectives and questions as we engage with ideas, share insights, and discover fascinating layers of culture and history in artworks. No prior art knowledge or experience is required.

Experience the fresh perspectives of young artists and designers in the NGV Collection, then discover the work of the next generation of creatives in Top Arts, our annual exhibition of exceptional work by students who have recently completed visual arts studies in the Victorian Certificate of Education.
