NGV International

Ground Level

Are you a senior interested in learning more about art, design and the NGV? Join our friendly NGV Guides in the Gallery each month for an hour of informal conversation about selected artworks and stay on for a cup of tea in the café to continue the discussion. We would love to hear your perspectives and questions as we engage with ideas, share insights, and discover fascinating layers of culture and history in artworks. No prior art knowledge or experience is required.

In the last Senior’s Tea of 2024, we traverse the passage of time in the NGV Collection from ancient artefacts through to contemporary masterpieces. Join us as we explore the many ways time is defined, divided and discussed through diverse cultural traditions.
