Graphic Fashion looks at intersections between fashion and graphic design, from the margins to the mainstream. Independent publishers are leveraging their graphic design expertise to make fashion merchandise and capsule collections, as well as launching fashion labels, while experimental fashion designers are making publications that contribute as much to fashion discourse as do their garments.

This symposium features international and Australian practitioners whose work blurs the line between fashion and graphic design, as well as hybrid practices that bridge publishing, contemporary art and music. What is fashionable about graphic design, and what does graphic design contribute to fashion practice?
