Refik Anadol is world-renowned for exploring the relationship between art and machine intelligence. Anadol recently shot to global prominence with WDCH Dreams, the groundbreaking visual art installation that projected three-dimensional ‘data sculptures’ directly onto the undulating stainless- steel exterior of Frank Gehry’s Walt Disney Concert Hall.
Embedding media arts into architecture, he questions the possibility of a post-digital architectural future where enriched immersive environments and computing are ubiquitous. His body of work explores how perception and experience of time and space are radically changing now that machines have all but colonised our everyday lives.
This is an Auslan interpreted program.
