Before an architectural design is realised in the form of space, it exists as an idea on a timeline. Using the recently completed Club Stand at Flemington Racecourse as a case study, this exhibition dissects the design and construction process to reveal and celebrate what is often unseen.
Using data visualisation and graphic communication, the exhibition showcases the complete evolution of the design from conception through to completion. The display reveals the impact of experimentation and iteration, the significance of a concept, and the importance of maintaining key ideas throughout the process.
