Ahead of TIWI, an exhibition celebrating the unique art and culture of the Tiwi people of Melville and Bathurst Islands opening at NGV Australia on 23 November, NGV Senior Curator, Judith Ryan AM presents an illustrated lecture highlighting connections between the exhibition and this year’s NAIDOC theme – ‘Always Was, Always Will Be’.
