RMIT Design Archives launches the latest issue of its journal, a publication that focuses on Melbourne design practices from the mid-twentieth-century to today. Its latest issue considers how Viennese designers transformed the values of domestic design that they had absorbed in the cities of Europe before migrating to Australia, within a fast-changing post-war environment; how indeed they translated the past into proposals for the future. Contributors to this issue include Harriet Edquist, Professor of Architectural History at RMIT University and Director of the RMIT Design Archives, and Philip Goad, Redmond Barry Distinguished Professor and Chair of Architecture, Melbourne School of Design, University of Melbourne.
