For ‘P.S Documents Attached’, Publication Studio Rotterdam (PSR) and Publication Studio Pearl River Delta (PSPRD) will team up to present on their recent collaboration: the portable publishing studio, as well as live demonstrations at their MABF stand throughout the fair. Publication Studio is an international network of twelve studios that together share the weight of global distribution within a DIY context and where artist-initiated projects, not only find form but also circulate in a manner that attends to the publication as a type of public-making itself. Developed to respond to the demands produced by this print-on-demand model, PSR and PSPRD will present on their portable publishing studio, equipped with a printer, binder and cutter, as well as a designer and editor. In addition, for the duration of MABF, the two publishers will operate the studio at their stand, playfully juxtaposing the social infrastructure of the Publication Studio network with the limitations and privileges of the international art book fair circuit.
