This education resource explores works of art inspired by animals to help students understand symbolism, iconography, style, possible religious and mythological narratives, and the diversity of materials and techniques used in the making of works of art. Discussion points and questions help to develop and refine students’ art language and visual analysis skills, and introduce interpretive frameworks and thinking skills.
