Present a critique of the use of the Creative Practice from Unit 3 and use feedback and reflection to resolve a body of work.
In Unit 4 Area of Study 1 in Art Creative Practice, students are required to present a critique of all the work that they completed for Unit 3 Outcome 2. The critique in Area of Study 1 must take place before the resolution and presentation of the student’s body of work. This page of exploration demonstrates how feedback might inform how they could refine, resolve and present their body of work. Minnie determined that further research was required to inform the refinement of her ideas. She explored additional inspiration and the works of a range of artists.
Document, annotate and evaluate the refinement and resolution of the Body of Work.
Refinement and resolution of personal visual responses. The process is documented, and the Minnie critically evaluates the refinement of her body of work. The Interpretative Lenses could be used to focus the evaluation.
Refine and resolve a Body of work using the Creative Practice.
Minnie refined and resolved the use of materials, techniques and processes in the selected artforms of drawing and sculpture that represent her body of work. In Unit 4 Outcome 1 of Art Creative Practice, students are required to evaluate the presentation of their body of work and how it communicates their ideas. The examples of annotations on this page would demonstrate how Minnie has considered the context and presentation of her body of work and how they communicate her ideas. Students could use aspects of the Interpretative Lenses to assist them with their evaluation.
