We took over Port Fairy’s old and disused Masonic Hall and set up Blarney Books in 2004, opening in January 2005. Blarney Books & Art is Australia’s only bookshop with a dedicated book-related art gallery! We are the founders and the true home of the annual art competition – the Biblio Art Prize – where all works are inspired by books. This competition / exhibition has run for 12 years and attracted works from across Australia every year – 2020 was the first year it went online as well.
