Joël Andrianomearisoa’s work is informed by his Madagascan heritage, a country of diverse cultural influences. His works encompass a multidisciplinary approach, including sculpture, textile and drawing. Giving form to abstract narrations, he depicts texts that are often ambiguous, and are considered an ongoing series of exercises. He seeks to explore the aesthetic and architectural form of emotions and feelings, that, while they are universally felt, do not have a name.
