Born 1984, Melbourne, Victoria; lives and works in Melbourne. Alasdair McLuckie’s work has been included in several major exhibitions including Primavera, Museum of Contemporary Art, Sydney, 2010; Freehand: Recent Australian Drawing, Heide Museum of Modern Art, Melbourne, 2010–11; Monanism, 2011, and Theatre of the World, 2012, both Museum of Old and New Art, Hobart. He was awarded the Primavera Veolia Acquisitive Award in 2011 and the Art & Australia Credit Suisse Private Banking Contemporary Art Award in 2012.
