Bradd Westmoreland

Born in 1975, Melbourne, Victoria; lives and works in Melbourne. Bradd Westmoreland completed a Bachelor of Fine Art at the Victorian College of the Arts in 1995 and has exhibited regularly since his first solo exhibition in Melbourne in 1997. Since then solo exhibitions have included Paintings without Shadows, Niagara Galleries, Melbourne, 2009; Bradd Westmoreland’s Wall Painting, Beyond the Green Door, Melbourne, 2009; Night and Day, Gallery 9, Sydney, 2010; and In the Light, Niagara Galleries, 2012. His work has also featured in numerous group exhibitions, including There’s No Time: John Spiteri, Mira Gojak, Bradd Westmoreland, Karl Wiebke, Ian Potter Museum of Art, University of Melbourne, 2010. Westmoreland’s work is represented in private collections both in Australia and overseas and in major public collections including the National Gallery of Victoria and the British Museum, London.
