Ross Coulter

Born 1972, Melbourne, Victoria; lives and works in Melbourne. Recent projects include The Space Between Our Hands, Echigo-Tsumari Snow Art Project, Matsudai, Japan, 2012, and On the Nature of Things, Centre for Contemporary Photography, Melbourne, 2012. In 2010–11 Coulter was the recipient of the Georges Mora Foundation Fellowship at the State Library of Victoria, culminating in the project 10,000 Paper Planes, 2011, which involved the release of 10,000 paper planes into the domed La Trobe Reading Room of the library, for which he was awarded the Keith and Elisabeth Murdoch Travelling Fellowship, 2011.
