Ross Coulter’s practice encompasses photography, filmmaking, sculpture, painting and dance. A Georges Mora Fellowship – and the assistance of 165 volunteer paper plane throwers – enabled Coulter to create this ambitious and playful intervention into the iconic space of the domed Latrobe Reading Room, thus realising an idea that Coulter had ruminated upon since he worked at the State Library of Victoria in the late 1990s.
