Deanne has worked as a performer, choreographer and teacher throughout Australia, Europe, North America and Asia since graduating from WAAPA in 1993. Her work has been nominated for Green Room Awards and has been presented by Dance Massive, Lucy Guerin Inc, Dancehouse, Critical Path and Next Wave. Since 2006 she has concentrated on creating a body of mostly solo works and in 2010-11 undertook the Solo Performance Residency at Victoria University. A long time performer in works by Shelley Lasica, she has also performed in the work of prominent visual artists and created collaborative works with other dance artists and companies such as Michael Munson and Phillip Adams BalletLab. She is currently developing a new solo, Drumlines.
