Eamon Sprod is a sound artist working primarily under the pseudonym tarab, exploring urban locations through re-contextualised collected sounds and tactile gestures with found objects, formed into dynamic, psycho-geographical compositions. He has performed in Australia, Europe, Japan, North America and South America and his compositions have been published by labels including Naturestrip, 23five, Kaon, Unfathomless, Semperflorens, Recorded Fields and Trente Oiseaux. In 2011 he contributed to Magnetic Traces, a survey of Australian and French sound art in Paris.
