Now Hear This celebrates Melbourne’s thriving and internationally recognised sound art and experimental music scene. Guest curators have each selected ten pieces that offer insight into an area of significant local practice. This selection is diverse covering, for instance, meticulously crafted compositions to spontaneously improvised works; lone practitioners in bedroom studios to extended collaborative groups; and myriad approaches to technical and conceptual experimentation.
