Matt Hinkley

Born 1976, Narrandera, New South Wales; lives and works in Melbourne. Matt Hinkley completed a Bachelor of Visual Art at Queensland College of the Arts, Brisbane, in 2000. He has exhibited throughout Australia and internationally since 2002. Recent solo exhibitions include Frieze Art Fair, London, 2009; Neon Parc, Melbourne, 2010; KalimanRawlins, Melbourne, 2012; and Sarah Cottier Gallery, Sydney, 2010 and 2013. Recent group exhibitions include NEW08, Australian Centre for Contemporary Art, Melbourne, 2008; Freehand: Recent Australian Drawing, Heide Museum of Modern Art, Melbourne, 2010; List, with Joshua Petherick, Robert Heald Gallery, Wellington, 2013; and Reinventing the Wheel: The Readymade Century, Monash University Museum of Art, Melbourne, 2013.
