The exhibition poster, which is both announcement and artifact, has had a significant history in both art and design. In a creative approach to the promotion of Melbourne Now, Then Posters invites artists and graphic designers to creatively explore the form of the street poster. Printed offset in an edition of 500, six collaborative posters are presented as an ensemble at NGV Australia, with the remaining distributed around Melbourne for the exhibition’s duration. The Posters has been developed by guest curator Warren Taylor, founder of The Narrows.
