Born 1988, Melbourne, Victoria; lives and works in Melbourne. Lydia Wegner graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Art (Honours) from the Victorian College of Arts in 2011. Her work has been included in numerous group and solo exhibitions, including 3D 2D, Seventh Gallery, Melbourne, 2012; ideally everything must proceed as if it happened accidentally, TCB art inc., Melbourne, 2011; that’s where we tried to went there, Seventh Gallery, 2011; and Art of the Ordinary, ARC ONE Gallery, Melbourne, 2011. In 2013 she held the solo exhibition Folded Colour at the Centre for Contemporary Photography, Melbourne. In 2010 Wegner was a finalist the Wallarah Travelling Scholarship and in 2013 was shortlisted for the Keith and Elizabeth Murdoch Fellowship.
