Born 1978, Apia, Samoa; lives and works in Melbourne. In 2010 Maryann Talia Pau exhibited Fashioning the Mana at the National Gallery of Victoria, an installation created for the L’Oréal Melbourne Fashion Festival. Her group shows and projects include Regal and Savage, Craft Victoria, Melbourne, 2011; Joyaviva, 2012–; and Please, Can I Weave with You? The National Weaving Project, 2013. Pau’s One Million Stars to End Violence Against Women project, 2012–, will be installed at the Royal Exhibition Building, Melbourne, in December 2013.
