MaterialByProduct

Susan Dimasi, born 1973, Mildura, Victoria. MaterialByProduct is a Melbournebased fashion house founded in 2002 by Susan Dimasi and Chantal McDonald. Since 2011 the label has been solely run by Dimasi. In 2005 MBP were finalists in the L’Oréal Melbourne Fashion Festival Innovative Designer Award and in 2006 won the Premier’s Design Award for their Punch Out collection. MBP’s work has appeared in exhibitions at the National Gallery of Victoria and Craft Victoria, Melbourne, and more recently in CUSP: Designing into the Next Decade, Object Gallery, Sydney, 2013.
