Phillip Adams

Adams spent a decade performing and working in USA and Europe, before he returned to Australia in 1997 and established his company Phillip Adams BalletLab. Adams sets out to integrate visual art, architecture, composition, theatre, queer aesthetics, design, science and sometimes sociology, making the scope of his work a studio for cultural and creative exchange. Phillip works tour internationally and commissions have included The Australian Ballet, Chunky Move, Back to Back Theatre, Guongdong Modern Dance Company (China), Dance Works Rotterdam (Nederlands), City Contemporary Dance Company (Hong Kong), among others.

For Melbourne Now Phillip Adams will be performing a work as part of the February Solo Series.
