Slow Art Collective

Slow Art Collective, established in 2009, is an artist collective comprised of Tony Adams, Chaco Kato and Dylan Martorell. TS2 (Transfer station 2), 2009, was the group’s first major project, an installation constructed in collaboration with e-waste recycling companies and the Moonee Valley City Council Waste Transfer Station, Melbourne. Other recent projects and group exhibitions include Shelter, 2011 – an installation constructed in the drive-through basement of McDonalds in Collingwood as part of Mis-Design at the Ian Potter Museum of Art, University of Melbourne; Try This at Home, Object Gallery, Sydney, 2012; Bellowing Echoes, Gertrude Contemporary, Melbourne, 2012; Kaeru, Victorian Arts Centre, 2012; and Regimes of Value, The Substation, Melbourne, 2013.
