Founded in 2009, and positioned within the broader ‘slow movement’, the Slow Art Collective, with members Tony Adams, Chaco Kato and Dylan Martorell, explores ethics related to production and consumption, sustainability, DIY culture, the environment and collaborative artistic practices. MARLARKY is an improvised dwelling created from salvaged materials. As viewers enter the space they can imagine themselves eating, sleeping, washing, entertaining and relaxing in this makeshift but multipurpose space.
