Born 1971, Perth, Western Australia; lives and works in Melbourne. Stuart Ringholt has exhibited widely nationally and internationally since 2003. Recent solo exhibitions include Video Works, Club Laundromat, New York, 2009; Starring William Shatner as Curator, TCB art inc, Melbourne, 2011; and a performance at the Museum of Old and New Art, Hobart, 2012, in which the artist led a naked audience on a tour of the gallery. Ringholt has participated in numerous group exhibitions, including Power to the People: Contemporary Conceptualism and the Object in Art, Australian Centre for Contemporary Art, Melbourne, 2011; ACCA Pop-Up Program, 54th Venice Biennale, 2011; Open House, Singapore Biennale, 2011; and dOCUMENTA(13), Kassel, Germany, 2012.
