Stuart Ringholt’s practice spans sculpture, video, collage, performance and workshop facilitation including a recent and memorable tour of Hobart’s Museum of Old and New Art in which the artist and his audience were naked. Further extending this naturist theme, his collages for Melbourne Now, titled Nudes, feature images of modernist art objects with nudes from soft porn – a juxtaposition that complicates the original images and opens possibilities for new narratives.
