Born 1976, Melbourne, Victoria; lives and works in Melbourne. Toni Maticevski graduated in Fashion and Textiles (Honours) from RMIT University in 1997. He established his own label in 1999 and regularly presents collections in Australia and the United States. In 2002 Maticevski won Best New Designer award at the L’Oréal Melbourne Fashion Festival and in 2008 was named Fashion Designer of the Year by the International Design Awards. Maticevski is represented in the collections of the National Gallery of Victoria, Melbourne, Powerhouse Museum, Sydney and Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising, Los Angeles.
