Emile Zile
Emile Zile is an artist, filmmaker and performer who is currently undertaking a two-year studio residency at the Rijksakademie van beeldeende kunsten, Amsterdam. Zile’s short film
Jack features a sound design and score by Philip Brophy and focuses on the charismatic figure of Jack, a young dancer. Jack drifts through Footscray, performing in the grungy high street, in the light industrial zone and, finally, in the partially built Buddhist temple.
