Emily Floyd’s widely exhibited prints and sculptures explore literature, typography, protest, public art and the legacies of modernism. Her work Students in dissent is a collaborative screen-printing project made with Stewart Russell, Warren Taylor and students from Monash University’s Faculty of Art, Design and Architecture. Floyd’s research into radical student organisations based at Monash University during the 1960s and 1970s resulted in the group recreating nine posters from the archive of former Monash Labour Club activist Ken Mansell.
