Mira Gojak first completed a Bachelor of Science at the University of Adelaide in 1984 before completing a Bachelor in Fine Art at the Victorian College of the Arts in 1992. With its freewheeling loops and erratic lines rendered in a palette including cobalt blues, soft pinks and fluorescent yellows, Gojak’s sculptural work Transfer station 2 appears like a drawing in space or, perhaps, a not-quite-settled Venn diagram complete with amendments, digressions and scribbled-out mistakes.
