Defining herself as a ‘body architect’, Lucy McRae has created short films, sculptures, fashion shoots, swallowable perfumes and blushing dresses, and has worked with Aesop, Nick Knight, Vogue and Philips Design’s far-future research team based in The Netherlands. The short film Make your maker, made in collaboration with Nga/Nahji Chu of Australian restaurant Misschu, explores the inseparability of the body and food while also addressing body manipulation, cloning, consumption, gender, science, technology and evolution.
