A Constructed World

A Constructed World is the collaborative project, founded in 1993, of Geoff Lowe and Jacqueline Riva, based in Paris, France. ACW have exhibited widely both in Australia and internationally, and participated in a number of biennales, including Gwangju, South Korea, 1995, Sao Paolo, Brazil, 1998, Tirana, Albania, 2003, and Belleville, Paris, France, 2010. Selected solo exhibitions include Yeah Flag Together Again, with Jon Campbell, Uplands Gallery, Melbourne, 2005; How Lowe River Rose, with Hao Guo, Victoria Park Gallery, Melbourne, 2006; Increase Your Uncertainty, Australian Centre for Contemporary Art, Melbourne, 2007; Schifanoia, N.O. Gallery, and four private apartments in Milan, Italy, 2007; Saisons Increase Part 1: Flowing Upwards, CAPC Museum of Contemporary Art, Bordeaux, France, 2008; Le Feu Scrupuleax, Cneai Chatou, France, 2008; Saisons Increase Part 2: Wild Weather, CAPC Museum of Contemporary Art, 2008; and Based on a True Story: Geoff Lowe 1972–92 and A Constructed World 1993–2012, Ian Potter Museum of Art, University of Melbourne, 2012.
