A contemporary art magazine published in Melbourne since 2004, un Magazine is a platform for emerging and established artists and writers and a space to consider, in particular, artistic practices in Melbourne’s independent and artist-run spaces. un Retrospective is a selective history of artists, writers and art practice as featured in the back catalogue of the magazine. Artworks will be exhibited alongside the correlating text from the pages of un Magazine, highlighting the relationships between criticism and practice, writers and artists, fostered in the publication.
